Turnaround For Bramham

Bill LevettIt’s been a busy couple of days at home with lots of horses to work before heading off to Bramham.

It was nice to be at home for 48 hours, and who said an event rider’s life is dull? I had the lovely job of unblocking the yard drains, a spot of fencing, sorting out the muck heap, draining the tractor along with riding horses – there’s always variety!

I gave most of the horses a work on the flat on Monday and jump on Tuesday and all seemed to go well. Harry had a jump on Sunday when I got back from Houghton over some skinnies to get his eye in and ensure his mind is on the job in terms of accuracy questions. He then had his last canter on the gallops on Monday and felt up for it. I am drawn fairly late in the order so I think my dressage will be on Friday.

I will update once we get to Bramham and get settled.

Cheers,

Bill
