I’m mentally exhausted and now know why I could never work in an office, or maybe more accurately should never be given an administrative job as it’s not by strong suit! We’ve been advertising this week in the Horse & Hound for staff (WPs and a groom) and I insisted to Jenny that I would handle all the calls and emails – and I’m finding it tough!
Jenny’s strong suit is my ‘development need’ as I find the whole thing exhausting, especially as I’ve been left with strict instructions to write everything down – a good idea so I know who I’ve spoken to and what I’ve done/agreed etc but again challenging. So suffice to say anyone who’s spoken to a slightly frazzled Aussie will now know why!
