Hipp feels like he travelled well and I had a nice hack on him last night and gave him a school this morning. It’s very warm here which makes a welcome change to the rain in the UK.
This show really does feel like a championship. All the world’s best trainers and riders are here, the size of the stadiums are all imposing but it’s exciting to have the chance to compete within. I have not seen the course yet – I will get to walk that this afternoon. The class will be very strong with all the best Germans here as well as France, New Zealand, and British riders. I’m looking forward to getting started with the briefing at 1 today and all the dressage tomorrow.
