He ended up in equal 18th on a score of 45.2. He is such a good horse to work with in that he always tries his best and wants to please. He’s still relatively inexperienced at this level so I know there is more to come.
The ground on the cross country has been very good but it has rained heavily today and is due to rain tomorrow afternoon too. BUT Toddy said he was last to go last year and it had rained solidly all week and the ground was still fine, so fingers crossed it will hold up for Ricky and me tomorrow afternoon.
The scores are tightly bunched with 12 places within a couple of marks – with only Michael Jung and Andrew Nicholson way out in front.
Fingers crossed for a good day tomorrow.
Cheers,
Bill
