This weekend was Josh and Ursula’s 9th birthday and, given last year their birthday parties didn’t really happen due to the household being struck down by chicken pox, this year we made a bit of a splash! Josh decided he wanted to have a Laser Quest party with his friends – and thankfully he invited his grown up friends as well! We all got to roll around in the mud in a forest and shoot guns at each other in a series of battle training activities. It was brilliant fun and the sun shone.
We were all then slightly more civilised on Sunday for Ursula who had an art party with her friends, where everyone had lots of fun creating their own T-shirt design and then ate far too many E numbers for lunch.
