Iām excited to be going to the Royal Dublin Horse Show in August to judge the young event horse classes. Iām lucky enough to ride a fair few Irish horses, which I very much enjoy given their propensity for toughness coupled with plenty of blood, movement and jumpĀ – they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes to me, but many of them show a common heritage from Ireland.
I also have a love of producing young horses and of looking at young horses and trying to assess their potential, so for me being invited to judge at The Royal Dublin Horse Show is the perfect job if Iām not riding/competing a horse. I’m very excited and honoured to have been askedĀ and I’m looking forward to it. Iāve not been to Dublin show for a few years but last time I went it was a fantastic experience and I feel lucky to be going back.
