BALLYMORE RICH CAT (Ricky)
Ricky is a 16.2hh 10 year old bay gelding by Ricardo Z. He belongs to the Prentice family and has been professionally and patiently produced by Gemma Hall.
He is an attractive horse, and has lovely paces and a cracking jump. He likes his food, and prefers his own company for sure as he can be a little cranky at times, but not in a threatening well – just a bit of a grumpy old man, like me!
He’s had a solid education and to date appears to be a pretty uncomplicated horse. 2011 was all about building a partnership and taking the step up to Advanced level. Ricky answered every question, doing well at his Advanced and CIC*** runs.
The aim for 2012 is to consolidate his 2011 experience with some spring Advanced runs and then aim for a spring CCI*** run, possibly Saumur in France.
Ricky has been selected for the Eventing Futures squad for 2012 by Equestrian Australia
