FILIGREE (Figgy)

Figgy is a striking 10 year old 16.3hh chestnut mare by Shine On. She is owned by Harriet Gover who used to event her.

Towards the end of the 2009 season Bill took over the reins as Harriet decided to focus on her studies and future career. Figgy originally came from Nigel Tabor and has quite a lot of experience as a show jumper.

Figgy  grew in confidence during the 2010 season, completing Hartpury CCI* and gaining her CIC** qualification at Gatcombe.

She is a sensitive lady, and gets very attached to the horses around her; she loves Minuto (who wouldn’t). She has bags of scope and great presence, real ‘look at me’ quality.

Sadly she picked up an injury on the gallops on her final canter before Compiegne CCI** in the Spring following a successful preparation at one day events. The aim is now to put her in foal to Hand In Glove and give her time to recover before all being well bringing her back to event post having a foal.
