OUT OF TOUCH II (Sooty)

Sooty is a 16.3hh 11 year old dark brown gelding by Touchdown. He is owned by Lynda Horsnell who bought him as a young horse and has had him for the last six years. He completed Aldon CCI* last year and has had a good grounding at Novice level. He came to me at the end of 2011 and I will compete him in 2012 with the aim of doing a three day event during the spring of 2012.

Sooty is a striking horse with a lovely canter, he is very light on his feet for a tall horse and has a big scopey jump. I’ve enjoyed getting to know him, he is an easy horse to train.

I think Sooty has a lot of potential and am hopeful that we can build a partnership and that he will be a competitive horse for the 2012 season.
