Training & Clinics
In line with current guidelines, the safety of our clients, staff and family will always be our top priority and we very much appreciate everyone’s support during this challenging time. We will continue to develop our training programme ensuring it supports social distancing and general biosecurity. So whether you have had to have a break from riding, or whether you have been able to continue to ride, we have training opportunities that will suit you. Whether you want to give yourself a much needed treat, or get competition ready, please do get in touch.#
We are busy working with our partner venues as we move towards the 29th of March, the point at which our training clinics should be able to recommence. All of the venues that we work with have been taking the opportunity to complete work on their cross country areas and we are very much looking forward to being out and about again. We know from our clinic program in 2020 that we can run our clinics safely and inline with the latest Government and Medical guidance. We will continue to monitor guidance and will make any adjustments necessary as we move forward.
From the 29th of March we will run clinics at our base, Little Charingworth Stud, Chipping Campden (GL55 6XY) as well as a great selection of clinics and day camps (when feasible) at a number of carefully selected venues. We will continue to monitor the latest health and Government advice to ensure the training opportunities that we run are ‘Covid Safe’. As we are sure you will appreciate, the guidance for Coaches is fluid, therefore we ensure our risk assessments are live documents. WE will notify you of all the clinic procedures and venue procedures at time of booking and also with final joining instructions. Bill is an Accredited Coach with both the BHS and BE, giving us access to the very latest health and safety advice.
We have taken the decision to limit groups to a maximum of 3/4 riders when we restart our group clinics, the number will depend on the layout of the different venues. This is to ensure we can play are part in keeping everyone safe. As we move forward we will monitor Public Health Guidance and only increase group size if we feel it’s safe to do so. We feel that it’s important to make changes in a phased way, allowing everyone time to get used to our “new normal”.
We will be staggering the lessons, to avoid overcrowding in the parking areas, and to support social distancing. We will send full details of our booking terms and conditions to all enquiries, and payment for your lesson will secure your slot.
Give your riding an intensive boost with our new Day Camps. Cross Country, Show Jumping & Dressage. You can book a single day, or put two days together, the programme is very flexible. There will be a maximum of 16 riders, with a maximum of 4 per group. You can book as a group of 3 or 4, or book as an individual and be allocated a group most suited to your current level / goals / horse.
We will publish Day Camp dates as soon as it is practical and safe to do so.
