I’m getting very fed up with the weather now. Gutted for owners in particular as it’s no fun at all for them to miss runs with their horses. Aston has called off Tuesday and Wednesday and so Fin, Alex, Sooty, Womble and Lala will miss out. Most frustrating for Alex who was doing a NRF and Lala her first intermediate. The others were having a last prep run pre Houghton, instead we will be back to the gallops as usual and also do a spot of cross country schooling.
I have my fingers firmly crossed for Friday and Saturday at Aston and Chatsworth on Sunday but I’m not optimistic, looking at the weather forecast this evening.
Time will tell.
