I had a pretty easy day in that I only had Dotty to compete so got to have a full morning of riding before I left home. I had Dotty, and Issy and Hannah were also competing. Hannah had a first outing on Quick which was a good first event to build from and it was good to get her out and about again.
Dotty was foot perfect. It was an imposing cross country course, rather different to the ones she has seen before but nothing bothered her, and it was great to have the variety of fences. Her dressage continues to improve, and she managed better in the show jumping than many who found the going not to their liking. A good day out!
We are show jumping tomorrow with some of the older horses and then back to Dauntsey, all being well, on Thursday with the Novices.
Cheers,
Bill
