Well sadly the inevitable has happened and we heard this morning that the first day of Gatcombe has been lost. We’ve been one of the lucky ones so far as we’ve run at everything we’ve entered. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the Intermediate runs on Sunday as the horses could do with a run before the 3 star at Burnham Market. I feel so sorry for all involved, especially my loyal and increasingly patient owners – but also all of the organisers and volunteers at the events.
Time will tell and we shall see what tomorrow brings.
