Well, it has been a good few days at home with the main attraction being our new arrival from New Zealand, the two star eventer Drakkar (photo of Drakkar at Heathrow).
It is such a long flight and when Draks arrived it was all a bit of a shock for him, but it is amazing how quickly he seems to be settling in to his new routine. Experience tells me it takes a good year for a horse to really acclimatise, so for this year we will take him nice and steady.
The girls on the yard are doing a sterling job, as it can get a little dull without competitions at this time of year, but it will come around and soon January will be here and things will happen quickly.
